Hi! Juliano here 👋

I'm a Brazilian engineer, educator, and entrepreneur based in Sweden. I came here to study and fell in love with (🌨️ most of) it. I work as a Staff Engineer at Modulai, and I run my own business, Juliano Labs, with workshops on ML debugging and clear thinking.

I love learning and teaching. Taking something complex and making it click for someone (myself included) is one of the most gratifying things I know. More broadly, I love communicating, both as a craft to express ideas clearly but also as a way to connect and think together.

I'm a programmer at heart. ML is my main thing, but I enjoy the craft of building software in general. I also love math, one of the most beautiful and misunderstood languages out there. And honestly, anything that involves world-building or problem-solving, from D&D to gaming to sci-fi, I'm in.

Lastly, I care deeply about clear thinking and living intentionally. About understanding reality well enough to influence it skilfully, towards what actually matters.

What I believe

• Human potential is real. Not understanding something now doesn't mean you never will. Years of teaching and learning keep showing me this, over and over.
• Clear thinking compounds. A small improvement in your process pays dividends across every decision you make, at work and beyond.
• The real measure of intelligence is getting what you want from life. Not your credentials, not your IQ, not how fast you solve puzzles. It's whether you can figure out what matters to you and move towards it.
